NACE’s annual poetry and photography competitions offer challenging enrichment activities for students across the UK and beyond, at both primary and secondary level. Schools are encouraged to hold their own internal competitions, before submitting the winners for entry in the NACE contests.

NACE Poetry Competition

The annual NACE Poetry Competition is an opportunity for the UK’s young poets to showcase their talents by submitting a poem on a set theme. For the 2016/17 contest, students were invited to address the topic “new beginnings”, with the shortlist and winners selected by children’s author Liz Kessler.

Entries for the NACE Poetry Competition 2016/17 are now closed. The results will be announced on 26 April 2017.
