The NACE Poetry Competition is an annual contest for students at both primary and secondary level, across the UK and beyond. Schools are invited to hold their own internal poetry competition, before submitting the winners for entry in the NACE contest.

For 2016/17, the competition theme was “new beginnings”. More than 1,300 entries were received, with the winners and shortlist selected by children’s author Liz Kessler.
