Local Authority Partnerships
If your school is in a Local Authority which has entered into a partnership arrangement with NACE you will be charged according to your local authorities' (LA) scale of charges for the assessment. You still need to submit your application form to NACE who will forward it to
your LA.
Applying Independently:
Schools applying independently will be charged costs ranging from £600 - £1800 depending on the size of school.

Other Costs involved for schools whose local authorities are not in partnership:
If you submit for assessment and the assessor, at stage one of the process, determines that you do not yet meet the criteria we will invoice your school for the cost of auditing your portfolio at £175.00
We will invoice your school for the cost of the Assessor's travelling expenses at £0.40 per mile and where necessary for overnight accommodation at a maximum of £80.00.
