Coming soon: new termly briefing for headteachers
05 March 2020
“The quality of an education system can never exceed the quality of its teachers. Governments should empower their teachers and school leaders with the trust and autonomy they need to innovate and instil a collaborative culture in every school. They also need to better recognise the importance and value of involving teachers in designing better practices and policies to create classrooms fit for the future.” – Andreas Schleicher, OECD Director for Education and Skills, June 2019
As a member-led organisation, NACE has long recognised the importance of empowering school leaders and practitioners to drive forward change in their own settings, to share effective practice and learn from one another, and to benefit from participation in a collaborative community working across diverse contexts yet united by shared ambitions and values.
New for the summer term, we’re launching “Views from the top” – a termly email digest for current and aspiring school leaders, including those working at trust or cluster level, providing an overview of the latest policy, practice and perspectives in the more able field.
Complementing our regular monthly newsfeed, this free service will give leaders access to a range of exemplars and insights to reinvigorate their own approach, and in turn to feed back into the community. Members of this group will also receive invitations to participate in initiatives including research projects, lectures and networking opportunities.
