Congratulations to 387 schools in England and Wales who have gained The NACE Challenge Award, 101 schools who have achieved Re-accreditation and 11 schools who have now reached a Decade of NACE Challenge having gained the third accreditation.
Maintaining the spirit of the Challenge Award and the quality principles
All schools gaining a NACE Award have undergone a rigorous, evidence based assessment, requiring triangulation between the evidence and judgements submitted by the school, assessment day evidence gained from interviews across the school community and evidence resulting from sampling of the quality of teaching and learning during the assessment day. Awards are given on the basis of achieving this triangulation and with the expectation that such standards will be not only be sustained but improved upon, as required by the report presented to the school.
Schools which subsequently fall short of ‘good’, as judged by the Ofsted Inspection of schools in England, and Eystn Inspection of schools in Wales, are deemed to have failed in the NACE requirement to sustain and improve good quality provision. As such, NACE reserves the right to require the school to cease to use the NACE Challenge Award logo.
