| Chichi Ribbans-Opara is Vice Principal – Curriculum, Learning and Progress at The Skinners Kent Academy in Tunbridge Wells. Chichi has been in education for nearly 20 years. For the vast majority of that time, in a range of secondary schools, she has led on the whole-school raising of attainment and progress for more able pupils. She is passionate about advocating for increased visibility for the more able within, and outside of, the classroom. She is currently conducting private research on the impact of the current teacher recruitment and retention crisis on the aspiration, progress and achievement and aspiration of more able students in state comprehensive schools in England. |
