Challenge Award School Experiences Keep an eye out on this page for brilliant opportunities to visit NACE Challenge Award-accredited schools and gain unique insights and inspiring examples of effective more able policy and practice. Learn how the schools have used the NACE Challenge Framework to develop and maintain high-quality provision for more able learners within a whole-school ethos of challenge for all. These immersive school visits include discussion on the school’s context and NACE Challenge journey, a learning walk and plenty of time for the opportunity to ask questions about the school and aspects covered earlier in the day, as well as questions about the NACE Challenge Framework and/or Challenge Award accreditation and reaccreditation. 10 June 2026 Feedback from Carlton Junior and Infant School [I enjoyed] seeing challenge for all and high standards of teaching and learning across school. [I found] absolutely EVERYTHING [beneficial] - I have been able to take so much good practice. Genuinely cannot think of a specific- just incredible. Feedback from Horizon International School, Dubai, 22 April 2025 [I enjoyed] learning more about the NACE accreditation process and hearing from the T&L heads on how this has been implemented across the school. [The] pupils were amazing! So eloquent on how challenge is addressed in their key stages. [It was] lovely to see the practice across school and speak to the leaders about how they have implemented this so successfully and consistently across the school. Feedback from St Michael's Catholic School The school is immaculate, credit to leadership and teachers. Pupils were very confident to talk about their learning. Incredibly useful to see a Challenge school in action - especially at the start of our challenge journey. Feedback from Osmani Primary School, London, 18 April 2024 Informative, clear and sharing of Lots of information and good practice that we would like to implement. We found the visit beneficial and look forward to using a variety of strategies in school. Great to have the chance to hear the theory / pedagogy and then see it in practice. Feedback from Nettlesworth Primary School I have taken so much from this 1/2 day - it will create discussion back in school. The teaching was fantastic, and it was not a "show" for us as everything they do is obviously embedded in the school. A lovely experience, thank you all so much for welcoming us into your school. It was incredibly insightful. Feedback from Toot Hill School Thank you for hosting, it was great to see such a high performing school in action. It was good to see another school who are slightly ahead of us in the NACE journey. I enjoyed the learning walk and listening to their presentation. If you have any questions about these events, |
