Join us in working towards our vision of a world in which all young people, including the more able, can develop their abilities without limits – no matter what barriers to learning they may face and no matter what school they attend. Despite repeated calls for excellence and equity in our national education system, the data shows widening gaps in outcomes and opportunities for learners who encounter disadvantage: potential is too often unfulfilled. Currently outcomes for a significant minority of pupils are capped below their potential. Their needs can and should be addressed. NACE’s most recent research – conducted in association with researchers at York St John University and drawing on case studies from trailblazing schools – focuses on how schools can break down barriers to opportunity and achievement, working towards a more equitable system in which all young people can flourish. The training and guidance we provide focus on low-cost, high-impact ways for schools to remove barriers to opportunity and achievement for all young people. As a charity, we’re not out to make money – but we do need funding to keep supporting schools, particularly those facing the greatest financial pressures. We also welcome other forms of support – including collaborating on research, training or resource development, marketing and outreach, and more. Your funding could cover… £30: a bundle of NACE's research publications for a school to support them in creating cognitively challenging classrooms – they are full of successful case studies from across our network of schools From £120: one year of NACE membership for a school – providing ongoing guidance for all staff through our online resource library, live and recorded webinars, and community events From £195: guarantee a place for a school leader to attend a day of NACE CPD – equipping them to lead change across their school, improving provision and outcomes for their young people From £500: enable a school to access the NACE Challenge Framework – providing a rigorous and proven foundation for lasting change and improvement, embedding “challenge for all” at all levels of the school From £10,000: a development package for a group of schools – enabling each school to access training, resources and support aligned to their context The costs and examples above are indicative only: contact us to discuss a funding package that aligns to your own values, mission and areas of work.
