Free webinar: open to all schools Geography fieldwork: minds-on, as well as hands-on 3.45 – 4.45pm, Wednesday 11 March When done well, fieldwork is at the heart of effective geography education – providing genuine, real-life contexts for learning and promoting curiosity, creativity and critical thinking skills. But how do you ensure your learners bring their ‘thinking caps’ out into the field? This free live webinar will share guidance and practical examples to help you plan and facilitate fieldwork which keeps pupils engaged and challenges them outside of the classroom. Examples will focus on KS3, whilst sharing key principles to apply across all phases. Jointly run by NACE and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), this session is free and open to all schools. Register now – and please share the details with colleagues within or beyond your department/school who may also benefit.
