New for 2025-26, our half-termly member spotlights are live online events, offering the opportunity to hear a leading member of the NACE community share a case study of effective practice for their more able learners. Each spotlight session focuses on a specific initiative, sharing why and how it was implemented, impact on learning, and key tips for effective application or adaptation in other settings.

In this session, we’re shining the spotlight on Walton Priory Middle School, Staffordshire. The school will share details of their "challenge mountain" approach, promoting desirable difficulty, and increasing learners' metacognitive skills in relation to challenge.

You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have at the end of the presentation.
