NACE Member Spotlight: Moreland Primary School
4.00 – 4.45pm, Thursday 19th March 2026, online
Free event, exclusively for NACE members
Our half-termly member spotlights are live online events, offering the opportunity to hear a leading member of the NACE community share a case study of effective practice for their more able learners. Each spotlight session focuses on a specific initiative, sharing why and how it was implemented, impact on learning, and key tips for effective application or adaptation in other settings.
In this session, we’re shining the spotlight on Moreland Primary School in Islington, North London. As we “go all in” for the National Year of Reading 2026, the school will share its experience in promoting reading – and particularly developing reading for pleasure. This has included its Moreland Reading Passport initiative to give all learners a challenging reading journey as they progress through school; a range of approaches to ensure equity of access to high-quality books both in school and at home; engaging with parents and carers; developing partnerships; and staff training to support successful implementation.
You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have at the end of the presentation.
