Member meetup: Creating a curriculum which gives opportunities for all children to flourish

Free meetup for NACE members

Friday 3 March 2026 (10:00am – 3:00pm)

Prince Henry’s High School, Victoria Avenue, Evesham, Worcestershire, WR11 4QH

NACE agrees that “the refreshed national curriculum must be an aspirational, engaging and demanding offer that reflects the high expectations and excellence our young people deserve, irrespective of background.” – Curriculum and Assessment Review (England, Nov 2025)

NACE’s vision is that all young people, including the more able, must have the opportunity to develop their abilities without limits – no matter what barriers to learning they may face and no matter what school they attend.

The challenge, of course, is how to implement this. NACE is dedicated to sharing an evidence-led approach through our research to help schools create cognitively challenging learning environments in which all young people can thrive.

Free for all staff at NACE member schools*, this event will explore:

  • The importance of curriculum design in creating an inclusive curriculum ensuring high expectations for all learners, including those who encounter disadvantage, motivating them to reach their full potential;
  • The role of assessment in identifying prior knowledge and progress towards desired outcomes;
  • Designing a curriculum that prepares students for success now and in the future.

This event will be suitable for those working across all phases of learning.

Register as soon as possible to secure your free place.

*As spaces are limited, we are initially limiting free places to a maximum of two per member school, to allow as many schools to participate as possible. If more than two staff members from your school register, we will contact you to confirm which staff members should be given priority. Additional staff members can be added to the event waiting list.

If you have registered for a free place and are then unable to attend, please contact NACE in advance to cancel or transfer your place to a colleague. An admin fee of £50 +VAT will be charged if the event is not attended by your school after booking a free place.
