NACE Member Spotlight: Brook Field Primary School
4.00 – 4.45pm, Tuesday 21st October 2025, online
Free event, exclusively for NACE members
New for 2025-26, our half-termly member spotlights are live online events, offering the opportunity to hear a leading member of the NACE community share a case study of effective practice for their more able learners. Each spotlight session focuses on a specific initiative, sharing why and how it was implemented, impact on learning, and key tips for effective application or adaptation in other settings.
This first session shines the spotlight on Brook Field Primary School in Swindon, which attained NACE Challenge Award accreditation in 2023. Headteacher Rachel Taylor will share how the school has developed effective approaches for cognitive challenge across each subject area, working with subject leaders to develop “Planning to the Top Pro Formas” which are research-informed, practical, user-friendly, and tailored to the needs of pupils.
You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have at the end of the presentation.
