Creating a curriculum which gives opportunities for all children to flourish Free online event for NACE members Tuesday 24 March 2026 (3:45pm – 5:00pm)
NACE agrees that “the refreshed national curriculum must be an aspirational, engaging and demanding offer that reflects the high expectations and excellence our young people deserve, irrespective of background.” – Curriculum and Assessment Review (England, Nov 2025) NACE’s vision is that all young people, including the more able, must have the opportunity to develop their abilities without limits – no matter what barriers to learning they may face and no matter what school they attend. The challenge, of course, is how to implement this. NACE is dedicated to sharing an evidence-led approach through our research to help schools create cognitively challenging learning environments in which all young people can thrive. Free for all staff at NACE member schools, this event will explore: - The importance of curriculum design in creating an inclusive curriculum ensuring high expectations for all learners, including those who encounter disadvantage, motivating them to reach their full potential;
- Designing a curriculum that prepares students for success now and in the future using the NACE Curriculum Audit, which is provided free for member schools.
This event will be suitable for those working across all phases of learning. Register as soon as possible to secure your free place. Note: this event was originally planned to be an in-person meetup on Friday 6 March; we have changed it to an online session at a slightly later date to enable more of our members to participate.
