More Information |
Helen Green has been a teacher for 18 years, spending over a decade at Jumeirah Primary School in Dubai, before moving to Hartland International School. With first-hand experience as the parent of a child identified as more able, and a longstanding interest in more able education, she has attended many courses to develop her understanding of the field and in turn has enjoyed delivering professional development courses to teachers across Dubai to develop more able provision. In April 2019, she successfully led Hartland International School to becoming the first school in the Middle East, and the third outside the UK, to gain the NACE Challenge Award. She was instrumental in developing the mini enrichment league, which offers challenge competitions across schools in Dubai. Her passion is in questioning students and encouraging them to think deeply and challenge themselves across not only the core subjects, but also current issues in an ever-changing world. As a NACE Associate, Helen delivers training and support for schools seeking to develop high-quality provision for the more able and challenge for all. |
