Sharing membership benefits with colleagues | NACE

NACE membership covers all staff in your school, enable direct access to the NACE website for every member of staff.

The lead account holder should be the member of staff with lead responsibility for more able provision in the school. We recommend that additional licenses are allocated to members of the senior leadership team; curriculum, subject and phase leaders; and any other staff members with responsibility for leading on aspects of teaching, learning, enrichment or pastoral support.

Each license equates to one login for the NACE website. You may wish to use some of these licenses as “shared” logins – for example, setting up a license under the name of each faculty leader, and sharing the details with colleagues within the relevant faculty.

To set up additional licenses (“subaccounts”):

  • Log in to your school’s main account. Click on “My Profile” at the top right of the screen. You should then see a “Welcome” message in the top menu bar – click on this and select “Account & Settings”.
  • Choose “Information & Settings” from the left-hand vertical menu, then “Sub-accounts” from the horizontal menu. This will bring you to the subaccount management page.
  • Copy the “subaccounts direct link” and paste it into an email to the colleagues you have selected as named license holders. They can then follow this link to create their accounts, and then share the login details with others if relevant (e.g. if setting up a shared account for each faculty/phase). This approach allows you to add your own message, with any relevant context, comments etc.
  • Alternatively, enter colleagues’ email addresses into the box provided and click “send invite”. This will send an automated email inviting colleagues to register.

IMPORTANT: To ensure your colleagues’ registrations are approved, please ask them to register using an official school email address, rather than a personal email.
