At this very difficult time for schools, it is reassuring to know that NACE continues to be a great source of support in terms of access to resources and CPD. Many of us are taking the opportunity to attend to our professional development in terms of catching up on professional reading, and engaging with online webinars and forums to support CPD. At Copthorne, we have already set a number of professional development tasks for staff to do when working from home and we will be including accessing Nace webinars ('Stuff about the Brain'; Differentiation and the More Able'; 'Big Questions to Challenge the More Able'), and reading Nace's 'Essentials' (High Ability in the Early Years'; 'Exceptional Ability'; 'Mindset for Success) in our next round of tasks. This is the perfect time to encourage staff to really explore what Nace membership has to offer.
