Three-part online course
3:45-5:15pm - 9 June, 23 June, 7 July

Delivered remotely over three 90-minute interactive sessions, this course is designed to support colleagues who are leading, teaching and/or supporting within the early years foundation stage (EYFS). It is led by the author of NACE’s new EYFS-specific support materials and will include practical case studies of early years settings with successful practice for more able learners.

Drawing on NACE's EYFS resource set – including a visual toolkit, audit tool and identification guide – the course will support practitioners in identifying characteristics of more able learners in the EYFS and provide practical ideas for setting up and planning for challenging learning environments which promote a “no limits on learning” culture. The course will also look ahead to the implementation of the new EYFS framework.

The programme includes pre-reading and a pre-course task as well as gap tasks between sessions, designed to support practical application of the course content.
