NACE R&D Hubs 2022-23: online launch
3.30 - 4.45pm, Tuesday 27 September

NACE’s Research and Development (R&D) Hubs offer opportunities for NACE members to exchange effective practice, develop in-school research skills and collaborate on enquiry-based projects. Each Hub brings together practitioners from different phases, sectors and contexts to share and develop effective evidence-based practice.

Throughout 2022-23, the NACE R&D Hubs will examine contemporary research and practice in three key areas:
  1. Oracy for high achievement
  2. Rethinking assessment
  3. Cognitive challenge within the new Curriculum for Wales
Read more here.

The launch event will include:
  • Introduction to the Hub leaders
  • Outline of Hub practices, what is gained from participation, and expectations for participants
  • Breakout sessions: opportunity to learn more about each of the three Hub themes and discuss initial ideas
  • Additional support, resources and related opportunities from NACE
  • Opportunity for Q&A

This event is free and open to all schools (members and non-members), providing an opportunity to find out more about the Hubs programme, how it works, and how practitioners and schools can benefit from participation. Following the launch, continued participation in the Hubs programme is free and exclusively for NACE member schools.

Please note: places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Places may be limited to one per school, in order to allow as many schools as possible to access the session.
