Member meetup: Low threshold, high ceiling learningFree meetup for NACE members 17 November 2023, NACE, Horticulture House, Manor Court, Chilton, Didcot OX11 0RN Free parking is available at the venue, which is also a short taxi journey from Didcot train station. Please register by 10 November to secure your place...
This NACE member meetup is dedicated to sharing guidance, ideas and experiences from across our network of schools. You will have the chance to learn from NACE Associates and leading schools in this field, with further inspiration provided by prominent author and speaker Bob Cox. We will investigate how a low threshold, high ceiling approach to learning can promote a culture of challenge for all learners. Hosted at the NACE offices near Didcot, the day will also include a networking lunch followed by an afternoon session dedicated to idea-sharing and discussion on any issues you are facing currently in school. There will also be the opportunity to browse and purchase the Opening Doors book collection. Please note: As spaces are limited, we are initially limiting places to a maximum of two per school, to allow as many schools to participate as possible. If more than two staff members from your school register, we will contact you to confirm which staff members should be given priority. Additional staff members can be added to the event waiting list. If unable to attend, please contact NACE to transfer your place to a colleague. An admin fee of £50 +VAT will be charged if the event is not attended by your school after booking.
