A fantastic opportunity for primary schools
New bespoke CPD programme for primary schools beginning in September 2024
To ensure as many schools can join as possible and maximise the benefit of networking and discussion amongst the delegate group, we have moved the first event to September, meaning the whole programme will now take place within the 2024/25 academic year.
Run by Bob Cox, author of the Opening Doors series, this programme consists of five events throughout the year – two in-person day sessions* and three online twilights. The course is designed to support principles and strategies for ambitious English for every pupil in your school. *Remote access for the in-person sessions is available for international schools and others if travel is a barrier.

Why Learning Fails (And What To Do About It) by Alex Quigley
A new release that asks us to consider important factors in learning such as the narrow limits of working memory, the inability to learn independently and the danger of falling motivation in the face of failure. As always, we need to take these ideas and seek to see their implications through the lens of more able learners and reflect on how we adapt our teaching accordingly.
